The freezer is suitable for storing temperature-sensitive samples, reagents, and biological materials within a temperature range of -5°C to -25°C. Thanks to the ATEX approval, it can also be used in areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere (Zone 2).

The BioCompact II RF 410 achieves temperatures of -5°C to -25°C at a room temperature of up to 35°C. With a power consumption of 112 watts and 0.4 A, the efficient cooling system operates with a natural refrigerant and requires only 2.13 kWh per 24 hours.

The unit is designed for research laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, biotechnology companies, and industrial laboratories with elevated safety requirements. The ATEX approval makes it particularly attractive for laboratories working with flammable solvents or explosion-hazard areas.

The BioCompact II RF 410 features ATEX approval according to EN 60079-15 for Zone 2, an intelligent goods protection program, and a second room sensor as standard. The self-closing door, frame heating in the cabinet body, and programmable defrost cycles provide additional safety. At 43.3 dB(A), it also operates particularly quietly.

For the 346-liter interior, plastic-coated or stainless steel wire shelves (430 mm and 300 mm), perforated stainless steel shelves, and plastic drawers on roller slides are available. The unit accommodates a maximum of 22 large and 3 small shelves at 50 mm spacing. Additionally, storage racks for cryoboxes, data loggers, and a stacking kit are available.
