The BioCompact units are available as refrigerators or freezers for a wide variety of laboratory applications. Key features include optimized forced-air cooling with air guide baffle, "smart frost" temperature management, and an efficient refrigeration system at a reasonable price. Variable accessories meet all requirements. Units are available with white painted steel or stainless steel exterior. Thanks to the extensive selection of equipment options, numerous solutions for individual storage needs are available. These include wire shelves and baskets, glass shelves and drawers, and storage racks for cryo boxes. Refrigerators are also available with glass doors. The units are equipped with environmentally friendly, natural refrigerants (R600a) and therefore are not subject to the Chemical Climate Protection Ordinance requirements for reducing CO₂ emissions (greenhouse effect; Global Warming Potential (GWP)).
