GRAM Pharmaceutical Refrigerator, 1400 Liter BioPLUS ER 1400 MED, white exterior

The refrigerator was specifically developed for compliant medicine storage to DIN 13277. With a 1400 litre volume, it is suitable for hospital pharmacies, clinics, large pharmacies and pharmaceutical facilities that need to store large quantities of temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals. The temperature range of +2 to +20°C covers the requirements for standard medicines, vaccines and biologics.

The GRAM BioPLUS ER 1400 MED maintains the set temperature range with a precision of ±1 Kelvin at ambient temperatures between 10 and 40°C. The specialised control system features a min/max memory that documents time and temperature in the event of deviations. The temperature sensor is calibratable, and it is possible to use a reference vessel (100 ml accessory) for product-proximate temperature measurement.

The unit is aimed at pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals, pharmacies, research laboratories and medical care centres with high storage capacity requirements. DIN 13277 compliance, the stainless steel interior and extensive alarm functions meet the requirements of GMP-regulated areas. With variable interior fittings (drawers, wire shelves, perforated shelves), the refrigerator can be adapted to different stored goods.

Unlike simple laboratory refrigerators, the BioPLUS ER 1400 MED offers DIN 13277 certification, an interior made entirely of stainless steel, and professional alarm functions (door, temperature and power failure alarms with a potential-free contact). The active electronic defrost heating enables fast maintenance without lengthy downtime. Optionally available is a refrigeration safety system with two separate refrigeration circuits, which switches on automatically if the first compressor fails to reach the target temperature.

For individual interior fitting, stainless steel drawers (30 or 40 kg load capacity), perforated stainless steel shelves (max. 50 kg) and wire shelves made of stainless steel or plastic-coated wire are available. For increased efficiency, interior doors (3 doors per side) can be retrofitted. Optionally available: circular chart temperature recorder with 7-day recording, external reference vessel and refrigeration safety system. The unit comes with a 3-year warranty and a 5-year spare parts warranty on the compressor (within Germany).
