Parameters can be programmed and timer functions such as day-night cycles and temperature changes can be configured via a membrane keypad. Despite its relatively compact footprint, the MINITRON is equipped for virtually all conceivable requirements of an incubation shaking machine. In addition to the shaking device for a tray measuring 475 x 420 mm, it also provides sufficient space for installation of cooling units, lighting inserts, and humidification systems. The downward-opening door flap allows convenient operation both above and below the bench as a table-top shaker. Furthermore, units are stackable up to 2 levels. Additional operational safety features include over-temperature shutdown and a potential-free contact output for connection to an alarm system. Following a power interruption, the machine automatically returns to the preset setpoint values. Through the tight seal to the motor compartment and control electronics, the notorious consequences of piston breakage are definitively reduced to cleaning only.
