Rapid cooling is a prerequisite for proper operation. To facilitate forced heat transfer from the sterilized goods to the cooling coils, the air inside the sterilizer is circulated by the built-in radial fan during the cooling phase. The fan is driven by an electric motor via a magnetic coupling. The usable internal dimensions are not reduced in depth. The cooling time is thereby reduced by up to 80% compared to natural cooling. Depending on the load and vessel sizes, cooling times from 121°C to 80°C of 10 to 40 minutes can be achieved.
