Systec Autoclave 55 L capacity
Vertical Benchtop Autoclave VE-55, 55 l Chamber Volume
for basic laboratory applications with several process optimization options
Product information
Sterilization of Laboratory Waste and Liquids up to 140°C
The Vertical Floor-Standing Autoclave VE-55 was specially developed for straightforward laboratory applications in research and quality assurance. With 12 storable programs, the system reliably sterilizes solids, instruments, and liquids. Particularly efficient is the destruction sterilization of waste in bags, which is supported by a pulsating heating phase for optimal air removal. The unit offers a flexible solution for microbiological laboratories with a chamber volume of 55 liters.
Technical highlights include the pressure vessel made of titanium-stabilized V4A stainless steel and precise control up to a steam pressure of 4 bar. A flexible PT-100 temperature sensor ensures exact monitoring of the media temperature, while the automatic DI water feed (Autofill) increases operating convenience. For quality assurance, a validation port and an RS 232 interface for GMP-compliant data output are available.
This robust floor-standing autoclave combines a compact design with high thermal resilience for daily laboratory use. Discover further solutions in Refrigeration Technology or request your quote now!
Frequently Asked Questions About This Model
What is this device used for?
The VE-55 model is used for sterilizing laboratory instruments, solids such as plastics, as well as the safe destruction sterilization of laboratory waste and liquids.
Which performance value is decisive for sterilization?
Decisive factors are the maximum sterilization temperature of 140°C and the permissible operating pressure of up to 4 bar absolute, which also enable demanding cycles.
For which laboratories is the autoclave suitable?
It is ideal for research laboratories, institutes, and industrial testing laboratories that require reliable steam sterilization with a nominal volume of 55 liters and a small footprint.
How does it differ from simple benchtop autoclaves?
The VE-55 offers vertical loading, an electropolished V4A stainless steel vessel, and specialized programs with a pulsating heating phase for improved venting of destruction bags.
Which connections are required for operation?
Required are a 220-240V electrical connection, a 3/4 inch connection for demineralized water (Autofill), as well as optionally raw water for exhaust steam condensation and a floor drain.
