The SHEX1619DG is suitable for cell cultures, solubility studies, extraction procedures, bacterial and yeast cultures as well as suspensions. Immunoassays, protein studies, staining/destaining and blotting techniques can also be reliably performed. Due to its suitability for extreme environments with up to 100% humidity, the shaker is ideal for operation in a CO2 incubator, where research laboratories, biotechnology and diagnostics require reproducible culture conditions.
The speed range of 15 to 500 rpm is precisely controlled (above 100 rpm ±1%, below that ±1 rpm), and the timer ranges from 1 second to 160 hours. The orbit is 19 mm, and the capacity is 16 kg. Separate LED displays, an RS232 interface for data logging, as well as an external control module with a 1.7 m ribbon cable enable operation outside the incubator.
