The Labcycler 48 features an aluminum block with 48 wells for 0.2 ml sample carriers arranged in 6 x 8 rows. Operation with individual sample carriers and strips is possible. The aluminum block enables heating rates up to 3.5 °C/s and cooling rates up to 3.2 °C/s.
