Cooling Thermomixer for Samples from -17°C to 100°C
The programmable cooling thermomixer ISTHBLCTS is suitable for temperature-controlled sample mixing in biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, clinical diagnostics and research. Typical applications include enzyme reactions, PCR preparation, cell lysis and protein extraction, where reproducible temperature profiles are crucial. The included block for 24 x 1.5 mL tubes makes the device usable for common reaction vessels in the molecular biology laboratory.
The temperature range extends from room temperature down to -17°C and up to 100°C, with a cooling rate above room temperature of 2–3 °C/min. The shaking speed is adjustable from 300 to 3,000 rpm with an orbit of 3 mm. The thermomixer is operated via an LCD color touchscreen (109 mm / 4.3") with USB interface; Eppendorf R-blocks can also be used.
