The eQ9600-6 Real-time Thermocycler is suitable for demanding multiplex qPCR applications in molecular biology and diagnostic laboratories. With six detection channels, the device is particularly well suited for pathogen panels and assays with multiple targets to be detected simultaneously. The open reagent platform allows the use of common PCR plates, strips and tubes in 96-well format as well as commercially available fluorescent dyes without manufacturer binding.
The system offers 8 gradient zones in a temperature range from 30°C to 99.9°C with a resolution of 1°C to 40°C. The six channels cover dyes such as FAM, SYBR Green I, HEX, ROX and CY5 as well as two freely adjustable channels. Fluorescence detection is performed via photodiodes, and an integrated UV disinfection function provides additional contamination protection for the block.
