The Mobeye ThermoGuard TwinLog CML4255 offers continuous monitoring of ambient temperature, logging with online access and graphical representation, and direct alarm notification in case of problems. The temperature limits of the external digital temperature sensor range between -35 °C and +70 °C. These are adjustable. When the set temperature limits are exceeded or fallen below, an alarm notification is sent via push notification, SMS, call or email. Optionally with a local siren. The CML4255 also features a second connection port for an additional external digital temperature sensor. This provides the same performance spectrum as the supplied sensor.
Like all Mobeye devices, the CML4255 can be operated on battery power for extended periods; however, it is advisable to use external power supply and connect a power adapter. This way, the ThermoGuard TwinLog also monitors the power supply and notifies in case of mains power failure.
Additionally, there are two NO/NC inputs. External potential-free sensors can be connected to these. This enables even more monitoring options, such as monitoring the operation of devices, fans, air purifiers or detecting possible unauthorized door opening. Settings such as alarm delays, calibration values, custom alarm messages etc. are easy to program.
The Mobeye ThermoGuard TwinLog is the right tool for monitoring compliance with temperature limits. The product is particularly suitable, among many other applications, for monitoring medical refrigerators, storage rooms, heating and air conditioning systems or machines in the industrial sector.
For communication, a Mobeye (M2M) SIM card is included. This cost-effective "multi-provider" SIM card provides connection to the 4G LTE-M network (with 2G as fallback). The 4G LTE-M network is very reliable, has good accessibility in buildings and remote locations, and is energy-efficient. The SIM card also enables access to the Mobeye Internet Portal and push app for optimal user comfort, security and online programming. The online-activatable Mobeye CML4255 SIM card costs 8.00 euros per month (plus VAT, flat rate).
Optionally, your own (Micro-)SIM card can be used. The device then operates (only) with 2G, without logging function and without portal/app. Alarm messages are sent via SMS and telephone call to a maximum of 5 phone numbers. Programming is performed via (simple) SMS commands.

The ambient temperature must not be exceeded or fallen below during operation (not below -10 °C and not higher than 50 °C). The device must be protected against moisture, splash water, and under- and overheating. The device may only be operated with batteries as prescribed by the manufacturer. The device must be protected against severe vibrations and shocks. The device must not be installed or operated in the vicinity of flammable gases, vapors or dust development.
