Alarm notification for ULT-freezers: Security without network dependency

Almost all -86°C ultra-low temperature freezers feature a potential-free alarm contact—a switching output that triggers in the event of temperature deviations, door alarms, or device errors. Alarm notification devices connect to this contact and transmit the signal via mobile network as a call, SMS, or email to defined phone numbers. This operates independently of the laboratory's WLAN and remains functional during network outages.

Mobeye ThermoGuard TwinLog

The Mobeye ThermoGuard TwinLog is a starter kit including a power supply that combines logging, display, and alarm notification. Temperature values are recorded continuously and forwarded via call, SMS, or email if limits are exceeded. This device handles both data logging and alarm functions, suitable for laboratories seeking a simple, complete solution without separate IT infrastructure. List price: €405.00.

Telephone dialer with LC display

The telephone dialer with LC display offers 4 alarm inputs, allowing multiple ULT-freezers to be monitored simultaneously. In the event of an alarm, it automatically dials one or more stored phone numbers. This solution serves as a cost-effective basic security measure for locations without WLAN infrastructure. List price: €252.00.

Combination with data loggers

Alarm notification devices do not replace a data logger; they merely forward the device alarm. For a complete, GMP-compliant solution, we recommend combining these with a data logger for seamless temperature recording or a WLAN data logger, which combines both functions in one device.
